The Business Issue

In response to our client’s ambitious growth goal in the “veg box” sector, this project explored consumer attitudes and behaviour to inform how the client could acquire new customers, deepen loyalty, and grow lifetime value, thus establishing a clear path to growth.

The Research

We conducted online research among almost 7,000 active, lapsed and non- customers of our client.

This was designed to explore their attitudes and behaviours in the purchase of fruit and vegetables, to identify how best to retain, regain and attract each audience to our client’s offer.

The Outcome

Strategic guidance for the client to structure their offer to:

  • Maintain engagement with existing customers to increase spend and loyalty.
  • Optimise levers to attract both “easy win” and “further out” target customers.
